Pipaillon RESTAURANT - Brussels

I was walking through Place Sainte Catherine recently, and I discovered a new treasure: Pipaillon – La Conserverie.
I got into this little place curious about all cans that were exposed on its walls, and I discovered inside a cute tea room with lots of good things to eat.
You can stop by there and begin your day with a delicious coffee and some Charli breads (that I adore!) – with homemade jams of course – or have a tapas plate with olive and tomatoes tapenade, a goat cheese and honey tart, and a creamy Burrata with seasonal vegetables.
Finally, if you end up like me charmed by this original location, you can take away home a few jars of garlic and olive oil confit, carrot, celery and thyme soup or red plum, earl grey and black pepper jam.
I love:
– The cute identity of the place;
– The yummy breakfast with delicious bread, jam and coffee, which is still rare in Brussels;
– To have a light tapas plate for lunch with an homemade iced tea;
– All cans made in the workshop at the back of the store.
