In London, in Marylebone, there is a well-kept secret: Dinings.

Dinings is THE hype and tiny Japanese restaurant. Based on the Izakaya concept, you can sip sake and umeshu while ordering thousands of little tapas. The originality of this place opened by two former Nobu chefs is its traditional Japanese cuisine with a “European touch”, including truffle and foie gras in many dishes. Dinings serves delicious food in a laid-back atmosphere.

As the basement is stifling, make sure claustrophobics made their reservation at the street-level counter.

I love :

  1. The fusion Japanese cuisine;
- To share plenty of dishes, and taste a bit of everything ;
  2. The Tuna tartare with truffle, “Dinings” sashimi and Wagyu Beef-foie gras sushi.

I like less:

The basement, too tiny for me.
