If, with my eyes closed, I had to choose a fine italian restaurant in Brussels, it would definitely be Dolce Amaro on Charleroi road.

I love it, and I often return there with friends and family.

Because the food is fine and excellent and the service and flavors of the dishes are authentic.

There is no simple pizza and spaghetti Bolognese at Dolce Amaro. You will be tempted by the short menu and the delicate suggestions that will be presented to you: the beef tartare with truffle and burrata, the clams and bottarga orecchiette, the tagliatelle with fresh truffles or the bar in a salt crust.

While modern decor is not the one of a traditional trattoria, you ‘ll pay no more attention to this as soon as the dishes will arrived an the bottle of Brunello will be opened…

One, two, three : close your eyes, you are in Puglia.

I love :

  1. The freshness of all the products and the delicacy of the dishes ;
  2. The adorable and smiling service;
  3. The terrace during the summer.
