In the center of Brussels, there is Les Filles – Plaisirs Culinaires.

Some people knew already the “hidden” place in Saint Gilles where Les Filles settled their kitchen in a former workshop. They have moved recently in a mansion in Dansaert neighborhood, and the place is still awesome.

Originally, the concept was to be delivered dishes at the office in large pots that could also be shared in Saint Gilles in their homy atmosphere restaurant.

Today, Les Filles have improved their concept: the cooking classes are very well organized, and they have opened a grocery store with a wide range of organic products ( meat, bread, vegetables…).

In the restaurant, starters are served at the table and main dishes are standing in large pots in the open kitchen. It’s an all you can eat menu, and it’s nice to stay there gossiping at the host tables.

The important change of Les Filles – PLaisirs Culinaires is that this place is now open 7 days a week, even at night, and offers a huge weekend brunch.

This is what I just meant: Les Filles, that rocks.

Foodalist’s tip: During the weekend, try to meet there before 12am or after 2pm to avoid the long waiting queue.

I love :

  1. The generosity of the set menu ( 15€ lunch / 25€ dinner) (3 starters, 1 main course, 1 dessert and 2 side dishes-appetizers and cheese in the evening) ;
  2. The friendliness of the service, and the open kitchen ;
  3. To feel at my friends, with the pictures hanging on the walls and vintage dishes;
  4. The weekend brunch and Charli Bakery pastries;
  5. The girly badge to find your bill at the cashier;
