In a back alley in Uccle neighborhood, you will find the Pigeon Noir.

This is a place where I have got my habits, with family or friends.

The regional cuisine is prepared with talent and excellent products. And its owner, Henri, is a real food lover, and will entertain you with his thousands stories.

 Foodalist’s tip: According to Henri, the secret to cook exquisite cheese croquettes lies in a combination of four cheeses, little binder and a squash of grappa.

I love:

  1. The old cafe interior, with a counter and enamel plates;
  2. The history of each object that lives on the plot, explained with passion by Henri;
  3. The homemade cheese and shrimp croquettes : to DIE FOR.
